Cable is thin

"I don't see why it's not a slightly thicker cable. It would add negligible weight and would inspire a bit more confidence as well as durability. The hole size can accommodate a larger diameter and I hear when people replace the cable, they go up a size."

Michael L. (4/5)

secret weapon for thin scars

"Looking for something to fit into thin desperate cracks or place over blown copperheads? Pecker does the job."

John B. (5/5)

BD Peckers

"These are indispensable for modern aid routes, particularly yosemite. Including thin seams, these are critical for passing dead heads, broken fixed pins, and bombed out pin scars where sawed angles previously were used. I'd avoid using in sandstone as will damage the rock if nailed, using as clean aid is better."

John D. (5/5)

Great piece of kit

"Did a route which would have otherwise been really hard to protect on a certain pitch. With the pecker we had a bomber piece to keep us feeling good and not too runout. Well worth having one or two of these in your toolkit"

Michael F. (5/5)

Cant wait to get stumped

"Cant wait to get stumped 'clean aiding' and having these bad boys to place"

Lorne F. (5/5)

Rad pecker

"Smallest worked on dead heads, largest could be hand placed, and med nailed good."

Dan S. (5/5)

Breathe easy

"Talk about taking the sting out of a spicy section, whether hand placed or tapped, peckers of all sizes do just that."
